Local FFA Members Gain Leadership Skills in Nation’s Capital
Maliha Kloth and Ava Scherle proudly represented our FFA chapter at the National Washington D.C. Leadership Conference!
During their time in D.C., they connected with fellow FFA members from across the country, explored historic museums and memorials, and gained valuable insights on what it means to be a leader and a catalyst for change.
They also took part in a community service project for Meals of Hope where conference attendees packed meals for those in need.
Maliha and Ava are excited to bring what they learned back to the WHS chapter and continue growing as leaders in our community!
This unforgettable experience wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of these organizations:
- Waterloo Optimist Club
- Monroe County Farm Bureau
- Waterloo Lions Club
- Daughters of the American Revolution
- Waterloo, IL FFA Alumni
- Illinois FFA Alumni
Thank you for investing in our future leaders!
