This Friday, the Waterloo Bulldogs and Columbia Eagles face off in the Route 3 Rivalry as part of the Great American Rivalry Series and we’re joining forces to Tackle Hunger in our communities!

From September 2–5, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to help with ongoing relief efforts from the May 16 tornado. Donations can be dropped off each morning in the main hallway at WHS.

Most wanted items:
Canned tuna, salmon, or chicken (cans or pouches)
Soup and chili
Canned fruit
Diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and pasta sauce
Canned beans and vegetables
Dried spices
Deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste

The school that collects the most weight in food will be announced during the 5 On Your Side Sports segment on September 5 at 10:00 PM.
