Advanced Biology students attended an Adventures in Medicine and Science (AIMS) program at St. Louis University. Dr. Williams, a renowned vascular surgeon, volunteered his time to show students how to repair abdominal aortic aneurysms on a cadaver. Three Waterloo High School students were selected to assist. In the second session, students were able to dissect a pig's heart via blood flow through the heart. Much fun was had! Go Bulldogs!
